A General information

Deutsche Messe operates a registration service for trade fair visitors, exhibitors and journalists, both for its own shows as well as for hosted events staged by other organizers.

Registration gives you the following benefits:

  • Access to the Fair Planner: registered users can transfer all exhibitor and event data from website search results lists into the new Fair Planner for annotation and further processing.
  • Bookmarks: registered users can bookmark their favorite pages. This information will be stored.
  • Access to customer-group-specific information: information that is carefully tailored to your needs as a visitor, exhibitor or journalist.

Please note that the scope of registration services offered may vary depending on the needs of particular shows.

We need to be able to identify you in order to be able to provide these tailored services. For this reason, we will ask you to provide certain items of personal information during the registration process. This may include information such as your correct name, residential/business address and postal address. All details you provide for registration purposes must be true and valid. We will keep you informed of important changes regarding the use of our Internet services and the registration procedure.

B The registration process

This part will be available soon.

C Special conditions for specific service offerings

In addition to these terms of use, the individual service offerings to which registration gives you access are subject to special conditions. See the following pages for details.

C-1 Trade fair planner

The event data that you store in your trade fair planner will be kept there for you until we publish the data sets for the next event in the series online (the data for the next event in the series will generally be published eight to six weeks prior to the event).

They will then be deleted, including any date information and notes you may have added.

In each case, we will send you an e-mail advising you that your data are about to be deleted from the trade fair planner.

All data generated from searches of our database and stored in your personal trade fair planner will be automatically updated whenever the relevant data in our database is updated; for example, if event dates noted in your planner are changed or exhibitor locations are changed.

Although we create, maintain and update all our database content with great care, we make no warranty and accept no liability whatsoever that the information provided is accurate, correct, or up-to-date.

We have special back-up measures in place to secure the integrity of the data you generate from searches of our database and store in your trade fair planner. However, we make no warranty and whatsoever that data stored in your trade fair planner will remain intact.

All liability in this regard is hereby expressly excluded. We use only the latest, high-performance technology and the most carefully-written programming for our online service.

However, we can not guarantee that you will always have full, error-free online access to the data you generate from searches of our database and store in your trade fair planner.

C-2 Bookmarks

The bookmarks you have stored consist of URLs. We continually update our Internet content. As a result, it is possible that the pages to which your stored URLs refer may have been changed or deleted.

C-3 Customer-group-specific information

Although we will exercise our best endeavors to target our Internet content to your particular customer group (visitor, exhibitor, journalist), we cannot guarantee that the information we provide is up-to-date or complete.
