STILL is donating an electric fork lift truck to the central warehouse for international operations of the Federal Technical Aid Organisation of Germany (THW). From this warehouse the THW transports drinking water treatment plants and other humanitarian aid material to Haiti and other disaster areas around the world. In Haiti the THW mainly supplies fresh drinking water to the victims of the earthquake.

Now a STILL RX 20-20 electric truck will help moving materials at the warehouse for heavy goods, support order picking and load or unload lorries. “Countless tonnes of technical goods are despatched to any place on the globe by the THW. An all-round lift truck such as the RX 20 helps us to work more efficiently”, says Albrecht Broemme, president of the federal aid organisation.
The battery for the truck is donated by the Geraer-Batterie-Dienst GmbH from Gera.

STILL is the leading supplier for the intelligent management of intralogistics, i.e. the whole internal flow of material and information. Besides the broad range of different trucks, the company develops innovative services and solutions for the flow of material. This makes up a broad portfolio of products and services offered, globally providing maximum efficiency. The fast service and the tight service network guarantee high profitability and safety for production processes. Today in Europe alone there are more than 6,000 qualified members of the STILL staff involved in meeting the individual demands of each customer. www.still.de
