The Berlin PSI subsidiary PSI Transcom GmbH will be presenting its depot management system PSItraffic/Depot for public transport companies at the IT-Trans from 24 to 26 February 2010 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Furthermore, the mobile group call solution PSIptt will be demonstrated.

PSItraffic/Depot supports and optimises business processes and is modularly expandable regarding the number of companies, depots and human resources. To locate vehicles in depots PSI uses transponder systems and latest RFID technologies which allow the detection of in and out coming vehicles as well as the tracking through sensors.

Further focal points are PSI’s multi-client Intermodal Transport Control System (ITCS) and the mobile group call solution PSIptt. In the future, the solution will be a part of the PSI control system PSItraffic or can be used as a single radio system. Public transport companies will profit from a high voice quality, accurate tracking, forming of fixed or dynamic groups and an emergency call function.
