The newly developed viastore high-performance picking station allows the picker to achieve the highest possible amount of picks per hour continuously, depending on the part and order structure. The place of picking and the picked quantity as well as the depositing position are displayed to the picker on the monitor in a clear and easy-to-discern manner.
The workstation enhances ergonomics, as it can be accurately adjusted to the size of the picker at the push of a button. The picking and shipping units (containers or cartons) are provided and subsequently removed from the workstation automatically. All these features reduce the worker's fatigue and increase the picking quality and picking performance.
