Getting inside the Mind of a Robot

Experts agree that the future belongs to robots. However, companies often lack specialist knowledge about how these robot members of their staff actually work. That's where the Robotation Academy comes in. At HANNOVER MESSE 2009, the Academy will offer a seminar program that is the only one of its kind in the world and is divided into ten teaching modules devoted to automation and robotics.

"Robotics Basic" offers beginners the chance to come to grips with the basic theoretical knowledge, while more advanced students learn how to program a robot of their choice and gain an insight into the way their artificial assistant "thinks". Thomas Rilke, Head of Industrial Automation at Deutsche Messe and Managing Director of the Robotation Academy, highlights the high cost/benefit ratio: "These first-class training sessions are the perfect way to prepare for making a targeted investment in the robotics sector."
