“No other event offers its visitors added value comparable to what this, the world’s leading metalworking trade fair, provides,” commented Dr. Detlev Elsinghorst, General Commissioner of EMO Hannover 2011, describing the attractiveness of the fair. The entire spectrum of modern metalworking technology is covered, i.e. the fair includes the latest machines and efficient technical solutions, product-related services, sustainability in manufacturing and much more besides.

The main focus of the exhibition is on cutting and forming machine tools, manufacturing systems, precision tools, automated material flow, computer technology, industrial electronics, and parts and accessories.

Since many of the goods displayed at EMO Hannover are being presented to the public for the first time at the fair, the event attracts the experts from the entire international scene to Hannover. Being present at EMO Hannover is an absolute must for all manufacturers of production technology aiming to serve customers on the international market and to demonstrate their competence, efficiency and capacity to them. The same applies to users. They require efficient manufacturing technology, comprehensive engineering skills and speedy service in order to master the effects of the crisis quickly and to be competitive on the global market.

“EMO Hannover offers all of that. As the central event within the branch it is in a class all of its own, impressing with top quality, innovation and its international scope,” added General Commissioner Elsinghorst. In 2007, this mega metalworking event attracted 2 120 exhibitors and 166 500 trade visitors from more than 60 nations.

Registration documents for EMO Hannover 2011 have just recently been sent out to more than 60 countries worldwide, and the registration deadline for exhibitors has been set for December of this year. For the first time ever, exhibitors can also register online at www.emo-hannover.de.
