Detlef Sieverdingbeck becomes the new Head of Communication

Detlef Sieverdingbeck (42) was appointed Head of Corporate Communications at Linde Material Handling GmbH (LMH) on 1 July 2010.

Detlef Sieverdingbeck (42) was appointed Head of Corporate Communications at Linde Material Handling GmbH (LMH) on 1 July 2010. In this newly created role, Mr Sieverdingbeck is responsible for internal and external Corporate Communication across the globe. He receives assistance in dealing with external communications from Heike Oder and internal communications from Susanne Schmidtchen. Beyond that the press responsible of each country remains the first point of contact for the press. Detlef Sieverdingbeck will report directly to the Chairman of the Management Board for Linde Material Handling GmbH, Theodor Maurer, and will work together with the Head of Communication and Investor Relations for KION Group GmbH, Michael Hauger.

Detlef Sieverdingbeck was previously employed as Head of Group Communications at the Schaeffler Group. His early career consisted of journalist positions at German tabloid BILD and the Focus news magazine. He then went on to work in leading communications roles at various companies, including FAG Kugelfischer, Schaeffler and Müller Weingarten.
